Dazzled

Parking lot decoration:  Sage

This town is artsy.  All the roundabouts have monumental sculptures and figures.  Even the the grocery store parking lot has been decorated--at least that's my opinion.

Silver green sage bushes, robustly five feet tall, line either side of the walk way from my car to the door of the store.

I'm dazzled by the heady, clean fragrance.  Makes me buy more than I need every single time.  Best excuse I can imagine.

  1. I remember fields of sage from childhood trips west. And that's exactly how they smelled. I think you are right in saying they lighten your mood.

  2. They are "artsy looking plants"
We love them. Every time when traveling to Central Oregon,,, I cannot wait to get out of the car, and take a deep breath , of not only the fresh air,, but the smell of the juniper and sage. Always finding a sprig or two to bring back home,,, and sniff when ever the urge comes upon me.. A beautiful plant in many ways.

  3. I wonder if you have tried putting the sage or juniper in a blender,, and adding some of your special mixtures,,, and made nice stuff to smell?
